Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Each serving entry point may look a little different, but the first step is to let us know you are interested.  Once you’ve narrowed down what ministry you are interested in, we will connect you with the appropriate ministry leader to take your next steps.  For some ministries you will be invited to check out that ministry in action.  For others, you may need to first complete an application or background check.  Either way our desire is to make it easy for you to get involved.

What is expected of me as a volunteer?

Expectations will vary from role to role, however you can rest assured there is a process in place to ensure that you are equipped and trained.    The most important thing you can do is to show up and be ready to go when you say you will.  Should you ever have any questions about what is expected of you be sure to talk with your team leader.  Good, open communication is the best method to ensure the serving opportunity is a good fit for both you and the ministry.
