The purpose of Missions at Midwest Bible Church is to keep before us God’s work around the world in building His Kingdom and redeeming His creation. We support “global partners” who participate in this work all around the globe.

PIEI Spain
Native Spaniards, they’ve planted a church in Malaga, a coastal city in Southern Spain. They’ve developed a wide network of friends, some of whom have attended their new church.

Jim & Roberta Hill

Trans World Radio
Jim manages TWR360, an online “storehouse” of Christian programming available in multiple languages that draws seekers and believers.

Daniel & Rachel Petrut

Romania
Daniel pastors the only evangelical church in their village of Mihalt, but extends his outreach to 3 neighboring villages. The family Is active in their community to build stronger relationships.

Kevin, Kaori & Justen Laverman

Japan
The Lavermans have planted a church in Muko, a growing suburb of Tokyo. Kevin serves in a local community group to increase relationships with locals & internationals.

Tim & Vivian Hoffman

Camp WeWoSeJe, Illinois
They have been directors Camp WeWoSeJe for more than 2 decades reaching rural youth as well as inner city youth with the gospel. They also conduct a Sunday School for unreached urban children.

Andrew Semenchuk

Slavic Gospel Association
Currently, he mentors young immigrant Slavic pastors on the west coast (USA), as well as encouraging national pastors in Russia, Ukraine, and in church plants in Alaska.

Bruce & Janet Scott

Friends of Israel
Bruce leads an annual service trip to Israel and fosters relationships with Jewish people, sharing the Good News of the Messiah. He also teaches God’s plan for Israel in churches.

Nancy Tichy

Liberia
Nancy (along with now deceased husband, Frank) served in Liberia for over 2 decades. In the US, Nancy writes materials to enlarge God’s global vision within families.

Alfreda Claus

CHIEF
CHIEF evangelizes and disciples Native Americans from the 1200 tribes in the western hemisphere. Alfreda counsels Native women in Phoenix & co-leads a Bible study twice a month.

Ruth Erdel

Slavic Gospel Association
Ruth is writing her 3rd book to be translated into Russian for women in Eastern Europe. She keeps in contact with women of various ages through email.

Anita Deyneka

Mission Eurasia
Currently, Anita works with organizations around the world to place orphans in Christian families & reunite foster children with their families when possible.

Marge Scholz

Ethiopia
Marge participates in weekly prayer meetings for Eastern Africa where she served for 25 years (Ethiopia) and uses her gifts in her retirement community in Florida.

Mary Garland

Global Media Outreach
A retired Bible translator in Bolivia, Mary asks the Lord daily to be useful. She is a counselor for Global Media Outreach, an online evangelistic site, sharing the Gospel with seekers worldwide.

Jim & Carolyn Fasold

Spain
Having lived 50+ years in Spain, they are currently directing their energies to promote Camp L’Aracada, a Christian camp near Barcelona. Jim also speaks to groups about his newest book on hermeneutics written for the Spanish-speaking world.
We also have more Global Partners who are in sensitive or dangerous places in the world. Keep them in your prayers!

Interested people at Midwest are invited to pray together for our global partners, send notes of encouragement (emails, texts, notes), and open their homes for lodging and meals when a global partner visits Midwest. See a missions committee member for details.
