A Mature Faith
Feb 23, 2020 • Andrew Catrinta
In Colossians 1:24 - 2:5, the apostle Paul transitions from the hymn of Christ’s preeminence into a personal contention of his servant ministry to the churches in Colossae and Laodicea.
His goal is clear and is the same for the church today: to nurture a mature faith in all believers. Mature faith comes by rejoicing in suffering, by being equipped with God’s wisdom, and by toiling with God’s power. And as individual believers grow into maturity, the Body will be further knit together in love, in good order, and with a firm and steadfast faith.
