Implications of the Resurrection

For Christians, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the most powerful moment in human history. Jesus' life changes the way that we live. We are no longer who we used to be. We are brand new people. We are freed from slavery to sin, death, and the devil. We are given the Holy Spirit, and He dwells in us. We are given the assurance of our eternal destiny with God. The resurrection shouldn't just be celebrated one Sunday a year. It should be celebrated joyfully every Sunday, every day, for the rest of our lives.
