Serving His Family in Love

As we continue our series examining the vision of our church, we see how “Serving His Family in Love” is a direct result of “Seeking His Face in Worship.”

This is so beautifully illustrated in Romans 11:33 through all of chapter 12, where Paul ends a section of his letter with a hymn of worship, and continues on that adoration by giving practical ways the community of believers can serve one another in Christ’s love.

Later, in Romans 15:5-7, we see a magnificent cycle taking shape: united service leads to united worship, and united worship leads to united service. Our love for Christ and to each other ultimately forms a witness to a watching and weary world.
