Purpose and Mission
Our purpose is to be a year round Christian camp offering retreats, summer camps, and outdoor education experiences. Our mission is to help people draw closer to God through great camp experiences. Our motto is “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known”.
2025 Review
In 2025, we had more than 5500 different people attend one or more days at camp, for a total of 16592 camper days. Camper days are the number of people times the number of days they are here. We are on our way to exceed 6,000 people this year.
Camp facilities: Oaks Chapel renovation is complete. We replaced the roofs of 7 cabins. We expanded the outdoor dining area outside the dining hall. The Archery pavilion is under construction and will be ready to use the spring of 2026. Many other facility improvements were completed.
In 2026, we will continue to expand our outdoor dining area and build a pavilion near the parking lot, to replace the 20x20 white tent. We also hope to start the grading process for the location of the future Prairie cabin project.

We express our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters, guests, families, staff, and our Board who makes this all possible through the power of God in our lives.
Scholarships
One of our key goals is to make sure that every child can attend camp. We work closely with many donors and partners to raise funds to help bring kids to camp. In 2025, generous donors provided $93,564 in scholarship funds! We already have more than $12,350 scholarship funds in hand for this year.
In memory of Judy Johnson, daughter of Burt and Marylin Johnson, of MBC, and at the request of some donors, we started an Urban Ministry Endowment Fund. This fund is currently at 27,073. Donors are committed to help us increase the amount to $100,000. This fund is invested to grow at 5% a year. When the endowment has exceeded $100,000 we will use a potion of the income for Urban Ministry. These funds will be available for many generations as we wait upon the return of our Lord. The endowment is a good place to leave a part of your estate so you know the funds will have a long- lasting impact. Of course any donation to the church, school or camp is an eternal investment in bringing people to Christ and training them to serve Him.
