Investing in God's Kingdom

In Luke 19:11–27, Jesus tells the Parable of the Minas just before entering Jerusalem, where He will face the cross. The crowd expected an immediate establishment of His kingdom. So, He shared this parable to correct them and demonstrate that the cross comes before the crown—that there’s yet work to be done to finish His mission, namely to seek and save the lost.

Jesus entrusts us with unique resources to invest in His kingdom, calling us to faithfully steward them as we eagerly await His return and promised reward.
