Purpose and Mission
Our purpose is to be a year-round Christian camp offering retreats, summer camps, and outdoor education experiences. Our mission is to help people draw closer to God through great camp experiences. Our motto is “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known”.
2023 Review
In 2023, we had 5,390 different people attend one or more days at camp, for a total of 16,025 camper days. Camper days are the number of people times the number of days they are here. We are on our way to exceed 6,000 people this year.
Regarding the camp facilities, in 2023 almost all our time and facility funds went to maintenance projects. We replaced several roofs, upgraded and replaced some floors, painted, landscaped, fence repair, trail maintenance, vehicle repair, and so much more. We also purchased a new ski boat.
In 2024, we will be expanding our outdoor dining area, undergoing major repair and renovation of the Oaks chapel, and will do several cabin renovations.

Scholarships
One of our key goals is to make sure that every child can attend camp. We work closely with many donors and partners to raise funds to help bring kids to camp. In 2023, generous donors provided more than $61,033 in scholarship funds! (Including Summer Camp, Lydia Children’s Home, and several city churches for retreats). We already have more than $20,000 scholarship funds in hand for this year.
