You Won't Make It If You Fake It

In Acts chapter 5, we are going to see how two professing believers, Ananias and Sapphira, who were husband and wife, were influenced by the enemy to mimic in the flesh, what can only be done through the Spirit.
They wanted to appear to be something they were not for their own glory and not the glory of Christ. They were spiritual pretenders masquerading as devoted followers of Jesus.
Main idea: To display the beauty of Christ, the church doesn’t have to be perfect, but we do have to be real.
In this sermon, we are going to examine the first inside threat to the developing beauty of the early church, namely hypocrisy. And why God dealt with it so severely. We pray this sermon would encourage you to walk humbly before the Lord.
